Who We Are

Hospice of Cincinnati/HOC Navigators creates the best possible and most meaningful advanced illness and end-of-life experience for all who need care and support in our community.

What We Do

Volunteering with HOC Navigators is a rewarding experience. Volunteers provide patient interaction and administrative support as an integral part of the team. Join us in creating the best possible and most meaningful experience by becoming a friend to those with advanced illness.

Our current biggest priority is for volunteers to provide companionship in the Home Care and Long Term Care or Retirement Community Setting.

Home Care Volunteers are matched with a patient in their community that needs companionship or respite care 2-4 times per month.

Long Term Care volunteers provide companionship to all HOC patients in a particular retirement community 2-4 times per month.

All of our volunteers must go through an orientation, health screen, and back ground check. If you are interested in becoming a HOC volunteer please apply here at website to start that process https://hospiceofcincinnati.org/volunteer/. Please be aware there is a 1 year commitment when signing up to be a Hospice of Cincinnati volunteer.
