Building Block events are our way of joining together with our neighbors throughout Butler County to give back in a way that will build a solid foundation for the future. Each Building Block event is tailored to one of the building blocks for a good life: Health, Financial Stability/Basic Needs, or Education. Our 'Bags and Bingo United' fundraising event will be held on Saturday, September 19, 2026, where we will be looking for volunteers to help run the event. Volunteers will be working the concession stand, selling tickets for various events throughout the night, and serving as waiters for our reserved bingo tables of 8. This worthwhile event will have drinks and food available for purchase. We invite you to join us by volunteering your time to help make the fundraiser a success. Our 'Books and Brews' education event will be held on Thursday, September 24, 2026, where we will assemble literacy kits for young children. These educational kits will include the book "If You Give a Pig a Pancake" by Laura Numeroff, illustrated by Felicia Bond , plus glue, crayons, and scissors. The finished literacy kits will be provided to the Butler County Educational Service Center to be distributed throughout their many early childhood education programs. We invite you to join us by volunteering your time to build the kits.
