Volunteer: Help low-income students! Donate used computers, time or money!Awakening Your Child's Total Potential is seeking resources to support our Computer Refurbishing, Mentorship, and Computer Education Program. Our goal is to optimize our efforts to refurbish more old computers and donate them to those low-income students of Cincinnati High Schools who have limited learning resources and support. Moreover, these students are at risk of taking on improper or hazardous jobs after graduating from high school since their families are struggling to provide their children with proper cognition development and career guidance. Therefore, we also intend to attract volunteers to provide computer education and mentorship to provide not only technology but also career support to encourage academic capabilities in students. Target population who will benefit from this program: The project is to serve mainly low-income students in Cincinnati, particularly those whose families are facing language barriers and rely on social welfare. Donate your computer equipments: Under the impact of COVID-19, online learning has become a universal practice, highlighting the importance of electronic devices for education. However, low-income families who lack the resources to purchase computers are left feeling helpless and inferior. This is where Computer Refurbishing comes in, providing learning and work tools for those students so that they can own their computers to exposure to technology, which can boost their confidence, self-esteem, and quality of life, as well as enhance their learning motivation. Volunteer: Mentoring is better together: Be a Big DuoBeing a mentor with Big Brothers Big Sisters is a fun, rewarding experience. The only thing that would make it better is to volunteer with someone you know! This is a great opportunity for couples, friends, siblings or other "dynamic duos" who want to be more involved in their community in 2023. Big Duos are two people who volunteer together as mentors for either one or two children ("Littles"). Who can be a Big Duo? Big Duos are two people who have an established, healthy relationship and are both committed to the importance of mentoring. Examples of Big Duos include: Spouses or partners Best friends Coworkers Adult siblings Parent and their adult childBoth individuals who are part of a Big Duo must submit separate applications and complete an interview and background check. Both must live or work in or near Butler County. As with all programs at Big Brothers Big Sisters, each individual volunteer must be qualified before they can be matched with a Little. Bigs and Littles are matched based on many factors, including location, personality, and shared interests. CLICK HERE to apply online, or email Jessica.Huentelman@bbbsbutler.org for more information. Volunteer: Outreach Volunteer (Summer Only)About:
We need more than coaches to make First Tee possible. We rely on volunteers — sometimes year-round — to accomplish our mission, and not all of those goals involve golf. We also need support off the course to deliver our program to kids and teens in the community and recreation centers in our communities.
Responsibilities: Outreach Volunteers assist the First Tee Staff, Coaches, and Youth Leaders at the center by: Providing basic sports instruction, monitoring safety zones, organizing groups, and leading activity stations. Requirements: The safety of our kids is our top priority. That is why all volunteers are required to complete a chapter provided background check, and, if applicable, Safesport Training before volunteering. To get started, please visit the volunteer page on our website. Available Opportunities: Field Day Takeovers Field Day Takeovers focus on bringing the First Tee experience to those without access to a golf course. We bring the equipment, staff, and volunteers to deliver an engaging program at a partner facility. CRC Community Days with First Tee First Tee has partnered with the Cincinnati Recreation Commission and the Tony Yates Junior Golf Academy to host all-immersive life and golf skills program for kids and teens in recreation centers across Greater Cincinnati. (New) Afternoon Community Golf Days – Reeves Golf Course New for 2022 is the Afternoon Community Golf Days program. Like the morning session, First Tee will host kids and teens from recreation and youth centers. However, there will be a greater emphasis on goal setting, managing conflict, and dealing with diversity in addition to golf instruction. Additional Information: For more information, view the attached document for program dates and details.

Volunteer: Angel Feet AmbassadorAn Angel Feet Ambassador is someone who helps promotes and bring awareness about our Angel Feet program and helps collect NEW Socks and NEW tennis Shoes for precious "Angels" around the world. Missions In Motion International Ministries' Angel Feet program allows groups and individuals to donate NEW Socks and NEW tennis Shoes that will be hand-delivered to those in need. We have visited various parts of the USA as well as developing nations and have seen the need for children whom we call "Angels" to have socks and shoes so they can attend school. The socks and shoes also provide protection from everyday germs and infection. Our Angel Feet program has the amazing opportunity to serve people in the USA as well as developing nations. We get the honor of cleaning the Angels' precious feet, then we put NEW SOCKS and NEW tennis SHOES on them. We have personally seen where just the simple washing of their feet has calmed a crying baby, put a smile on a mama’s face knowing her child now has socks and shoes, as well as a smile on a child’s face! A group of teenage boys were so excited to have a pair of shoes that fit their feet! You can also join us on a trip and help wash the children's feet and put new socks and new shoes on them.
