Volunteer: Hospice Long-term Care Companionship VolunteerLong Term Care volunteers provide companionship to all HOC patients in a particular retirement community in your neighborhood 2-4 times per month. We are looking for volunteers all over Butler County. If you are interested in becoming a volunteer please apply here on our website https://hospiceofcincinnati.org/volunteer/. All of our volunteers must going through an orientation process. Once you have complete that process you will be contacted about Long Term Care Volunteer opportunities. From there you will set your own schedule to visit at the long term care facilities. In a time of a person's greatest need they could use the kindness and compassion from a volunteer just like you. We are in need of cosmetologists willing to volunteer their time to go to patients homes and long term care facilities to provide haircuts for patients. In some cases this can be a person's last haircut, but it truly provides a sense of normalcy for our hospice patients. If you are interested once you have gone through our volunteering training process we will reach out to you with requests we have received from patients about haircuts.
