We have openings in Culinary/Food prep. Volunteer hours are flexible. Meal prep in our equipped commercial kitchen begins at 8:00 am with lunch service from 12:00-1:30 in the dining hall. Connect the needs of a community one person at a time as New Life Mission's Community Resource Assistant. You will be assisting those in need with caseworker-type help by working as our Community Resource Assistant, connecting our patrons with the Social Services they need. You will be helping them navigate the path to utility assistance, housing, addiction recovery, etc. Basic computer/internet search skills and communication skills needed. You may schedule flexible volunteer times that work best for you Monday thru Thursday 10 am-2 pm.
