Who We Are

Ohio Valley Hospice goal is to maximize the quality of life while maintaining hope through the last stages of advanced illness. Our philosophy is to help our patients enjoy life and remain symptom-free and in control of day-to-day decisions for as long as possible. We help our patients live in dignity, surrounded by family and loved ones.

What We Do

We serve people who are in the last stages of illness. Volunteers are needed to assist with in office tasks such as check in calls to patients/families, outreach, marketing, and clerical duties. Volunteers are also needed to make companion visits to patients in their homes and/or nursing care facilities. Companions are friendly visitors who read, talk, play games, go for walks and so many other things with our patients. They give patients a weekly visitor to look forward to.
