Who We Are

Community Adult Day Service is provided off site of the senior center at the Community Adult Day Service located at 420 South Campus Avenue, Oxford, OH 45056. The service provides supportive care and activities for older adults with special needs and operates Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm. Transportation is available. Private pay, Butler County's Elderly Services Program and PASSPORT clients are welcome. Contact Debbie Curry, Director at 513-523-0464 or CLICK HERE to send her a message.Top of the Hill Café Luncheons are provided Monday through Thursday at the Oxford Seniors' Center, 922 Tollgate Drive, Oxford, OH 45056. The meal is served congregate style and begins at 12:15 pm. The balanced, nutritious meals are served on a five-week rotation basis. Reservations are accepted 24 hours in advance. The suggested donation is $2.50/meal for adults 60 years of age or older and $6.00/meal for those 59 years of age and younger. Call (513) 523-8100 for the menu and/or to reserve your meal.Home Delivered Meals can be provided by Oxford Seniors seven days a week. Hot meals are delivered Monday through Friday with two frozen weekend meals delivered on Friday. Home delivered meals are for individuals who are homebound. To receive meals through the Elderly Services Program, call 1-800-215-5305. PASSPORT clients should contact their case manager.Lending Closet convalescent aids and adaptive devices available through Oxford Seniors include wheelchairs, bedside commodes, shower chairs, canes and walkers. The aids are loaned to people in need of the items on short-term or long-term basis. Upon return, the assisted person is able to make a monetary donation to Oxford Seniors if he/she so chooses. Oxford Seniors accepts used adaptive devices and convalescent aids, in good condition, for use in its Lending Closet.Outreach Services are available for older adults and their families. Caregivers can access information about services in and around the community of Oxford. CLICK HERE to send her a message.Senior Transportation provided by Oxford Seniors is available to adults 60 years of age or older, or disabled at any age. The transportation service operates Monday from 9:00 am to 7:00 pm, Tuesday through Friday from 9:00 am to 3:30 pm, and on Sunday from 9:00 am to 12:30 pm. The suggested donation is $1.50 one way around town, and $5.00 one way out of town. Rides should be scheduled 24 hours in advance, with priority given to medical appointments. Riders may use the service to travel to a variety of destinations, including the grocery store, post office, library, hair dresser, physician and hospital. Contact the transportation dispatcher at (513) 523-1717 to make a ride reservation. Support Groups held at the Oxford Seniors' Center include Grief Support and Caregivers Support Group. The facilitated meetings connect concerned with similar issues. The Caregivers Support Group meets on the second and fourth Thursday of the month at 1:15 pm. What We Do

OXFORD SENIORS has been serving community seniors since 1953. We provide services, education, and inspiration for the senior members of the community. The purpose of Oxford Seniors is to provide physical, spiritual, social, educational, vocational and intellectual programs older. It shall act as an advocacy agency for them.Oxford Seniors has been serving Oxford and the surrounding communities since 1953. In 1977, Oxford Senior Citizens became incorporated and began receiving funding from United Way and the area Council on Aging. Senior transportation began in 1978 as the "Help Van," and the Congregate Meal Program followed the same year. for adults 50 years of age or In 1990, Oxford Seniors became the provider for the Home Delivered Meals Program, delivering hot, nutritious meals to homebound seniors. The current Oxford Seniors building was completed in 1982. The Community Adult Day Service was added in 2000 to serve older adults with special needs who cannot stay home alone.
