Oxford Literacy Team

The Oxford Literacy Team is an all-volunteer organization, comprised of current and retired educators and community members who are dedicated to supporting literacy efforts throughout the Talawanda school district.

Oxford Literacy Team provides community based summer reading support for children in grades K-5 through our Super Summer Readers program. Students attend sessions at one on four neighborhood locations (Oxford, Reily, McGonigle, or Somerville). At each session, students receive at least 3 brand new, self-selected books at their unique reading level, as well as a nutritious breakfast. We also partner with Miami University to provide additional reading support.
