Who We Are

Our Mission: Provide today's youth with strong and persistent mentoring friendships for their path to adulthood and maturity. Vision: Building a bridge between generations through the power of mentoring. History: Mentoring Partners of Cincinnati (MPC) began it conceptual phase in early 2015 based upon the persistent spoken need by high school and college-age students desiring one-to-one relationship for life's greatest challenges. Matthew Marcum, founder and executive director, spent two years in development through consultations with educational institutions (universities and public high schools), non-profit institutions, business leaders, and other entities excellent in their field of community impact. The pilot program was launched in Fall 2017 with a small sample of students and their mentors, showing exceptional impact, and validating the pursuit of a structured 8-month program. The Butler County United Way joined MPC and its community partners as a gracious donor for the 2018-19 program launch, in which 10-15 mentor relationships are actively engaged.

What We Do

We facilitate mentoring friendships between mature community adults and youth 14-22 years old. These relationships build upon the natural strengths of youth in relational, academic, career, and faith (when applicable). Partnering in a young person's path to maturity provides lasting value to participants and their families.
