Who We Are

Eliminating racism, empowering women, and promoting peace, justice, freedom and dignity for all. YWCA Hamilton has been helping women and girls since 1900. The modern mission has a program of housing, a domestic violence shelter, a domestic violence crisis hotline, trauma informed care, racial equity and social justice programs, and youth empowerment programs. A special emphasis is placed on women and girls of color.

What We Do

Permanent Supportive Housing with mental health and addiction recovery resource support.

Domestic Violence crisis hotline and shelter.
