City of Hamilton - Love Your Block

Our mission is to organize and help residents in our target neighborhoods revitalize their homes and neighborhoods, one block at a time. With this being the inaugural year of the program, we want to work to create a sustainable program through volunteer effort and financial contributions in order to keep providing assistance to residents in need. Love Your Block is currently funded by the national non-profit, Cities of Service. Cities of Service is a nonprofit organization that helps mayors build stronger cities by changing the way local government and citizens work together. Cities of Service helps coalition cities tap into citizen insights, skills, and service to identify and solve critical public problems.

Love Your Block is a neighborhood revitalization program that brings material, equipment, and other resources together to help residents make minor exterior home improvements.
