The Annual Lions Club Christmas Tree sale kicks off on Saturday November 23rd, 2024 when the semi arrives at the Uptown Park with about 200 trees. Since we are an "older" club, it is nice to have some young, able-bodied Miami students available to help us unload trees and set them up in the park.
The truck arrives sometime between 11:00am and noon and with your help, we have it unloaded in about an hour. Great opportunity for an organization or a group of students to give back to the community.
The Lions Club uses the proceeds from the sale to support sight saving opportunities in the region, youth sports and field trips, and other community causes.
