Morgan Township is in the process of creating a new community park and we are helping them by planting a rain garden. Rain gardens are designed to hold back water allowing it to gently soak into the ground, instead of running across the land inundating our creeks. Our goal is to capture rain water from their parking lot and part of the hillside. In addition, we will be using native plants. These native plants are great a great food source for our native wildlife such as monarch butterflies and birds.
