Event Description:
Kick off the Great American Campout with us in June! Don't know a trilobite from a damselfly? Looking for new recipes to step up your s'mores game? We've got you covered as your family samples some of our favorite outdoor activities to get you exploring nature all summer long. From your first step on the trail until the last dying campfire ember, this will be one bash to remember!
Task:
Assist with setup of program. Lead/assist with activity stations which can include nature, recreation, and campfire cooking topics.

Weather:
We will work through light rain but cancel for thunderstorms or severe weather. please check the forecast to ensure you all bring the necessary items and wear the proper clothing.
Accommodations:
The MetroParks may provide accommodation to volunteer project participants depending on the nature of the tasks. Any request must be sent directly to the Manager of Volunteer Resources at least two days before the project begins
