Volunteers are the lifeblood of our hospital and without their dedication, time, passion, and expertise our hospital would cease to function. Our volunteers are an integral part of our mission to treat the whole patient-mind, body, and spirit. Whether it's brightening a patient's day with a smile, or supporting our medical staff our volunteers make a difference! There are a variety of volunteer opportunities for both adults and teens.
Volunteers at Kettering Health Hamilton perform office work, transport patients, deliver flowers/mail, volunteer at the Information Desk, and in the hospital's gift shop. Volunteers also sit with patients that are lonely, and help on the inpatient units with various tasks. If you are retired and have some extra time on your hands, want to make new friends, or interested in the medical field this would be a great opportunity for you!
