Volunteer Opportunities at Booker T. Washington Community Center Make a lasting impact while having fun! We are seeking volunteers to support a variety of youth programs. Opportunities Include:
Homework Help Tutors: Assist youth with daily homework activities and support reading and literacy development.
Assist with creative arts and crafts projects that inspire imagination.
Music Studio Helpers: Support youth exploring music production, songwriting, and creative expression.
Gym & Recreation Volunteers: Engage and supervise youth during structured gym time, games, and recreational activities.
Youth Sports Volunteer Coaches: Coach and mentor young athletes, lead practices, and support weekend games (sports seasons vary).
Volunteer Times: Youth Programs (During School Year): Monday–Thursday, 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM Youth Programs (During Summer): Monday–Thursday, 12:00 PM – 6:00 PM Youth Sports Coaches: Varies by sports season; games typically occur on Saturdays. Volunteer shifts are flexible with 1-hour time slots — volunteer once a week or as often as you like!
