First, you should explore the website and practice searching for opportunities. This online system is a valuable resource and tool made available for your success. Whether you are seeking opportunities as an individual or part of a group, using this platform will open doors for networking and the potential for earning service awards at Miami University Regionals.
To complete this Activity 1 you must hit the "Respond" button in the upper right corner.
Hitting respond alerts a non-profit that you are interested in volunteering with their organization. They will then reach out to you with next steps. For this activity, you will not need to take any further steps with our office.
After completing this activity move on to Activity 2 where you will answer two questions on the Canvas Discussion Board:
- Are there any organizations on Community Connect that you already volunteer with? If not, are there any that interest you?
- Are there any organizations you currently volunteer with that are not on Community Connect? If so, please list them.
