- What? Rest & Resilience is a short term break for families who have kiddos with special needs. Spend two hours with your buddy or small group as you rotate through a variety of preplanned activities, crafts and our gross motor playground. Volunteer roles include: Being a buddy to a kiddo who need extra support, leading (or helping to lead) a small group, a volunteer runner or serving on the safety or resilience support teams. No prior experience needed! Training is built into the volunteer time.
